It references slap.h which obviously exists. It also references a Refactoring document, published here: http://www.openldap.org/conf/odd-sfo-2003/proceedings.html
The overlay interface has expanded a bit since then of course. Not in significant ways, no major changes in direction or approach, nothing worth mentioning IMO.

OK. What about mentioning the new OID setup for contrib overlays in cn=config etc.?
Also, do we have a date for the next OL Dev Day?
Is now time to jot up a quick road map to go with this brand new 2.4 non-beta?
