Dear All,

What are the basic requirements we can always count on when building the OpenLDAP suite?

I'm trying to pick the right language for the menu build system for the contrib scripts for:

Something like http://wiki.sblug.org/Bash_Menu_Program works with Bash or /bin/sh then use sed/awk for the suffix subs etc.

I could use Perl and stick to core modules etc. as that comes as standard normally.

Thoughts?
