I see an error here:

<access directive> ::= access to <what> [by <who> [<access>] [<control>] ]+ <what> ::= * | [dn[.<basic-style>]=<regex> | dn.<scope-style>=<DN>]

If no [.<basic-style>] is given, the default is <DN>; this rule should look like

[dn[.<scope-style>]=<DN> | dn.regex=<regex>]

and basic style be changed/removed accordingly.
