Isn't there anything the tests can read e.g. once a second to see if
replication is done? Compare a contextCSNs of both servers, maybe?

default manpath?
by Aaron Richton
Possibly due to the autoconf 2.6 conversion, and this might be something
more for the README than a bug (although I could entertain either view)...
I'm pretty sure that earlier builds put the man pages in {prefix}/man,
while RE24 currently puts man pages in {prefix}/share/man. An extremely
minor behavior change, but one builders might want to be aware of...my
guess would be if this was researched, there'd be some sort of LSB
compliance rationale. I don't know whether that's a good or bad thing.

2.4.14 prerelease call for testing
by Quanah Gibson-Mount
Please test current RE24 CVS. In particular, if people can test:
(a) Building without TLS & without sasl
(b) Building without TLS
(c) Building without sasl
(d) If at least one person can build against GnuTLS instead of OpenSSL
Much appreciated. :)
Thanks,

Not really sure how useful the Partial state will be. We need an audit trail
for what portions of a bug are fixed in which specific release number. For
some bugs, it may be that the original report was too broad and the remaining
pieces should just be resubmitted as a new ITS, allowing the fixed parts of
the issue to be closed.
The Active state should make it a bit more obvious what we're working on, vs
what hasn't been investigated yet. Bugs that remain Open instead of Active
should raise some alarms.

AIX 5.3, GCC 4.2.3, BDB 4.6.25.3 , SASL 2.1.22, KRB 1.6.3
All tests pass.
Any tests you want "hammered" on?

The logical place to detect this is in select_backend() but there's no
sensible action to take besides log an error message. And since select_backend
is called so frequently, the error log would probably explode.
Suggestions?

actually, ITS#5792 is about compliance of slapd with
draft-zeilenga-ldap-relax.

This part of the fix, although probably trivial, is untested.
