Looking back over ITS, it seems this has been a long-standing problem with
nss-ldap.

Unfortunately the information in the other reports is a bit confusing; e.g.
the redhat bug indicates that a kernel update fixed the issue. That doesn't
really make any sense. Hopefully we can get some consistent info to track it
down this time.
