I would like to achieve a sync replication in refreshAndPersist mode as described in RFC 4533, but I would like to have my own C/C++ application as a consumer of the notifications.

Is there any way to achieve this with libldap? Or maybe there are some libraries that could do this? Has anybody tried this? Any tips are welcome. I've been looking for some tips on this mailing list as well as in google, but no success... Most recent questions regarding this issues are dated back in 2008/9, and contain no straight answers. Maybe something changed since that time?
