srandom/random do not appear to be defined on mingw. The trivial patch in max-bolingbroke-20140622.patch simply defines these functions to the C standard equivalents on Windows, which lets LMDB build cleanly there.
I've committed a different change. There's no real need to use srandom over srand, and the fewer ifdef's the better.
