Though it's been deprecated for a long time now, the documentation still referes to dsiallow bind_simple_unprotected, leading people into mistake, and some headaches.

Hm, according to CVS, it was removed from the release man page slapd.conf(5) in 2.1.21, May 2003. There's certainly no trace of it in the 2.3.27 man page.

Ah, it's still in the Admin Guide... You should be more specific next time.
