There is no bug here for the OpenLDAP project. You need to determine which clients connecting to your system are misbehaving if you want to be rid of these messages. However, they are not a sign of a bug per se, just poor coding. the protocol recovers regardless.
Additionally, I would note that there is no such thing as an "openldap patches" website. I don't know what patches you applied, but they didn't come from the OpenLDAP project.
