The slapd-sql(5) man page states:
'- the key must be an integer. ... If anyone needs support for different types for keys - he may want to write a patch,'
I am configuring back-sql as a frontend to the SugarCRM Customer Database. SugarCRM uses UUID's as keys:

so I want (to write) a patch. Can you please give me some hint where to start?
