--- Comment #1 from Howard Chu hyc@openldap.org --- The problem appeared when running tests in parallel, and the referral generated in this test resulted in connecting to a slapd from some other test. The test script has been fixed.
Not sure if the underlying assert failure can ever happen on a normal LDAP session.
