Hi Hiroyuki, thanks for the patch, I've just started reviewing it. Could you adapt test053-syncprov-glue to test the kinds of issues you encountered or create a new test (possibly based on it) that does? I think the issues you pick up on cut rather deep and it is important that we don't accidentally introduce bugs in this area in the future.
