Please add a pkg-config .pc file for lmdb.
A MacPorts user requested that MacPorts add such a file, since apparently many Linux distributions have done so:

I declined to do so on the basis that it is not our job at MacPorts to do that; it should be done by the upstream software developers.
I recommend you survey popular Linux distributions and find out what pkg-config .pc file(s) they are installing for lmdb and integrate the most popular version into your source code.
