Hello Ravi, the information you provided doesn't suggest any bugs in openldap, rather an invalid configuration. Use slaptest and/or a higher log level and address the issues picked up first.

Also the ITS system is for reporting bugs with the software, not for usage/help questions. Those should be directed to the openldap-technical@openldap.org mailing list.
