Wow, now in the master version nearly all of the codespell detected misspellings are corrected.

By the way, there exists also the possibility to be informed by email if new misspellings are detected but that may be a bit annoying ;-)

The typos in the Doxyfile come from the example Doxyfile in the Doxygen source tree. Those should be left untouched, to minimize spurious diffs if we have to update from there again.
