The slapd-sql(5) man page has the following blurb:

It is NOT designed as a general-purpose backend that uses RDBMS instead of BerkeleyDB (as the standard BDB backend does), though it can be used as such with several limitations.

Given the deprecation of BDB based backends, this should be updated to reference LMDB and back-mdb.
