Heimdal 1.0.1 was constructed from the FreeBSD 7.2R's port handling system for
contributed software. From Howard's analysis, Heimdal 1.0.1 is passing
incorrect values to LDAP 2.4.16.  Over to heimdal's maintainer on FreeBSD.
