      After the tests, these patchs work but not work for what we expect. According to Howard Chu, "Since these backends communicate using LDIF, binary values should be base64 encoded according to the LDIF rules." These patchs send binary data to backends. Could you change this ?

 any news concerning integration of this patch ?

An alternate patch is now in git master, please test.
Ok, we will test it : any modifications to do for 2.4.28 version ?
Please respond once you've tested.  Since there were changes to back-perl
for 2.4.29, it may not apply cleanly to a 2.4.28 build.
