(ITS#6208) Timelimit exceeded error when using unlimited timelimits

I executed the following search: ldap-uat1:/etc/ldap# ldapsearch -LLL -Q -h ldap-uat1 -b "dc=stanford,dc=edu"

/dev/null

Which ended with this error: Time limit exceeded (3)

Which should never happen, because my bind ID is part of the ldapadmin group, which is allowed to make searches completely free of time or sizelimit restrictions:
