it seems like only the rootdn Manager cannot do updates. slapo-chain gives TLS errors. Normal user everything works fine. Sometimes it will go through using the rootdn Manager.
Please provide your current configuration and the errors you are receiving.
Please provide output of the difference between what works for rootdn, and what doesn't.
