Please test and report;
servers/slapd/back-ldap/bind.c new revision: 1.244; previous revision: 1.243
The patch applies straightforwardly to re23 only if the first chunk is omitted.
Been running for 3+ weeks now on various test machines with no recurrence of error, so I'd consider this resolved.
