I tried this static configuration:
overlay auditlog auditlog /tmp/auditlog1.ldif auditlog /tmp/auditlog2.ldif
Only file /tmp/auditlog2.ldif is created and changes get writte to this single file.
So yes, I support to 1. set SINGLE-VALUE for this attribute type and 2. add an equality matching rule.
