thank you for your warning.
We are aware that it is a very old release and a version upgrade is already
being planned.
But for the moment, that is the currently installed version and that is
what produced the strange phenomenon.

I would note you're talking about OpenLDAP and LMDB releases that are over
4 years old, past which point numerous issues have been fixed for both.
