samba? assuming that samba is going to be used as pdc and fileserver.
First, I would suggest that you get your samba+PDC working across the
two sites using samba's built in auth.
Second, verify *nix desktop users can be authenticated, across the
VPN, for their login sessions with LDAP.
Finally, integrate LDAP auth. into Samba.
