Hi,
may someone here explain me the difference between dn.exact and dn.base ?
Thanks in advance.
Hello Friedrich,
this is quite easy,
dn.exact="ou=...,ou=andsoon,ou=xxx,ou=yyy,ou=zzz,dc=example,dc=com"
dn.base="dc=example,dc=com" (your minimum or base DN of your database)
Is that enough explanation for you?
Bye, Benjamin

There is no difference. All of these have the same meaning, for historical reasons:
exact base baseobject
Andrew
Yeah my fault, had some false information in mind. :)
