hi all,
i cant create child entrys apart from OU and OR, why is this?
i have installed openldap on a centos 7 vm and also phpldapadmin to manage the ldap server
i imagine this is an openldap issue and not a php ldap admin issue

What error are you getting on the failed create?
Is your new entry properly formatted? I'd suggest creating the entry using ldapadd, which would be easier to trouble shoot on failure.
followed this guide -
http://www.learnitguide.net/2016/01/configure-openldap-server-on-rhel7.html
but i only did up to step 6 and step 8
then i installed php ldap admin and i can now create OU, groups, users
cheers,
rob
