I'm trying to setup replication with syncrepl. I'm having problems with the slave config, I've thrown in the syncrepl config at the end of slapd.conf, but it keeps saying this:
/etc/ldap/slapd.conf: line 103: unknown directive <syncrepl rid=100> inside backend database definition.

You need to supply your slapd configuration. I'm guessing you're the same person who asked on IRC, which is exactly what you were told there, too.

Yeah I did supply my config on irc, here it is again:
I managed to get it working with another config, there was something wrong with the syncrepl config.. not sure what though.

Looks like your mailer has provided the solution: it seems there's some funny (probably invisible) character after syncrepl. Delete the line and rewrite it...
