The second alpha release for the OpenLDAP 2.5 series released today, and the source can be obtained from the download page:

The OpenLDAP 2.5 series contains numerous bug fixes and enhancements. Note that this release includes the new load balancer functionality.

Any testing in dev/qa/test environments that people can engage in with this alpha would be extremely helpful.
