Hi All,
I'm a bit new to OpenLDAP, and I'm not quite sure what went wrong. I installed OpenLDAP because it was a prerequisite of Moab.
After installing OpenLDAP and Moab yesterday, I had everything working just fine. I rebooted the cluster, and now OpenLDAP is not happy.
============================================================ [root@USDTWCLUS01 ~]# service slapd start Checking configuration files for slapd: [FAILED] <= str2entry: str2ad(o): AttributeDescription contains inappropriate characters slaptest: bad configuration file! ============================================================
I understand that something in my configuration must be messed up, but I am really unsure where there error is occuring. I'm unsure where my 'str2entry's are.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Like I said, I had it working just fine yesterday, and after a reboot it didn't like something.
Presumably you have mixed up some characters in a schema file.
