Eh. I would look at the RE24 CHANGES file and see if any of it is likely to affect you. If so, then feel free to try it.
Personally I'm testing master and RE24 whenever something appears in git. But at least ITS#7162 IMO affects anyone with a syncrepl setup in production.
If not, then no rush. I'm still chasing down ITS#7170 in the meantime; expect 2.4.30 to go when 7170 is resolved.
Given that back-mdb is rather experimental working on ITS#7170 shouldn't hold up 2.4.30 too long. I guess that not many people currently use back-mdb in production. (But I'm running my local address book setup with back-mdb.)
