I am using rpm from symas, latest update on 29th dec,2013. i think that will work.

That sounds about right. I assume you are using current RE24 OpenLDAP, and not 2.4.33.

If that is your actual config file, no. You stuck the definition of the accesslog DB in the middle of your existing DB configuration, which is going to cause you all sorts of problems. I prefer to list the accesslog db prior to the main db.
