Why are you using the BDB backend?

emm..
It is installed long ago by a person who is no longer with the company.
It is better hdb or mdb? I can pass this guy somehow and have better performance?
I have around 27,000 users created in LDAP

27k is generally miniscule.
back-mdb is massively more performant than back-(hdb,bdb).
