I am connecting to the server just fine, and I am looking at the database through eclipse apache DS studio plugin.  Notice how I have the rootDN set to "cn=Manager,dc=my-domain,dc=com" and the suffix set to "dc=my-domain,dc=com", but I dont see this root entry in my editor. all I see is Root DSE(1). I expand that tree and there is nothing underneath it.   I assume that by starting the server with the above slapd.conf, I should be able to create the rootDN, if not how does one go about creating a rootDN ?   Thanks Narsi
