Hi.
How can I, or what tool must I use, to implement a relational visualization of groups on a LDAP directory?
In other words, I need some system that permit users go to an specifc group and see a list of users of that group. And have some way to click on user and see the user informations.
Must I develop a tool to to this... or is there some tool (web tool) that I can download and install in a Linux box?

Hello Alexander,
I think you are looking for the ldapbrowser (http://www-unix.mcs.anl.gov/~gawor/ldap/).
It is a Java Tool, so it should run about anywhere.
Cheers,
Claus

Note that this tool is not maintained anymore since years. It has some serious bugs and should not be recommended without mentioning that.
The pros and cons of various LDAPv3 client tools still maintained has been debated quite often. I'd recommend to consult the mailing lists's archives.
Ciao, Michael.

Duly noted - I was not aware of any serious problems. We have been using it since 2003 without too much trouble.

Duly noted as well - will have a look.

Then you haven't used (back-)slashes in DNs together with JNDI... ;-)
Ciao, Michael.
