of course openLDAP does support multi-core CPUs or multiple mono-core CPUs. It does not care about underlying physical components.

openLDAP is multi-threaded and leaves to the OS the scheduling details ;-)

how many 'threads' have you configured in slapd.conf ? how many 'LDAP client' do you use when you run your tests?

Please send us a capture of 'top', having hit '1' and 'H' so that we see the per logical CPU details and per thread details

I'm using openldap. slapd is only using one cpu core of my server. is it possible slapd use more cpu cores ?
