I would like to know if there is a way to get the client's IP address in the events recorded by accesslog (at least during BINDs). I found traces of requests for this dating back to 2010, but I haven't been able to determine if it was ever implemented.
I was disappointed to see the following marked as WONTFIX:

I use a variation of that patch to this day. It isn't easily replaced by slapd logging or auditlog, in my opinion. I'd love to see that patch reconsidered.
