Okay.
I'll trying to upgrade my openldap to 2.3.42 soon.
But I ask me if it doesn't have a specific attribute in the ldapsearch
syntax to force MatchingRules at Substr (I saw it in some proprietary
software). Because I can't create my own schema for compatibility restraints
with some application. (I can just change the based schema)

It was probably a typo. Debian etch released with 2.3.30. (Upgrading to
2.3.42 may still be a good idea, though.)
