I am running the openldap server on Red Hat Enterprise Linux release 8.8 (Ootpa)
# rpm -qa | grep -i ldap

Do we have root and normal user privileges in OpenLDAP service as similar to Linux OS? For example, if I have to reset cn=admin password, do we need to use root or something? I am a little confused. Are there superuser concept in OpenLDAP?
Please guide me. Thanks in advance.
