Regardless, LDIF exports are usable regardless of backend (bdb, hdb, mdb). The "DIF" stands for "Data Interchange Format". You might be best served by first learning more about LDIF: <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LDAP_Data_Interchange_Format >
