I would advise you to use a better API than JNDI, it will make your life a lot easier, and help you avoid a number of known issues with JNDI.  You may want to look at &lt;<a href="http://www.unboundid.com/products/ldapsdk/" target="_blank">http://www.unboundid.com/products/ldapsdk/</a>&gt;<br>
