Hi Howard,

From your response we understood that OpenLDAP2.4.52 will continue the support of OpenSSL1.1.1 version. Can you let us know EOL of OpenLDAP 2.4.52 version?

If we upgrade OpenLDAP to 2.6.2 version, is OpenSSL 1.1.1 still supported? If yes, can you please let us the EOL of OpenLDAP2.6.2 version?

We understood that OpenLDAP project distribute source code. Our query is how OpenLDAP uses OpenSSL. Does OpenLDAP depend on OS (Like RHEL, Windows etc) for OpenSSL support or Does it include OpenSSL source code too as part of OpenLDAP source code distribution?

Can you also let us know the OpenLDAP version that includes support for OpenSSL3.0 ?

Regards,
Anil Kumar

We have no plans to delete support for OpenSSL 1.1.1.

The OpenLDAP Project distributes source code. Not binary packages. This question is inapplicable.

This question is inapplicable. RHEL does not support OpenLDAP, and OpenLDAP has no dependencies on RHEL.

OpenLDAP 2.6 includes support of OpenSSL 3.0.
