You should not need to run: "Running 'db_recover' solved this problem,
now slapd stopping/starting working fine without any warning or errors" with *any* 2.3 version. With OpenLDAP 2.3 db_recover is automatic.
Sorry my bad I thinks db_recover is now automatically running, I didn't noticed it coz i got my hand dirty with master :)
